One Simple Hack to Quickly Extract Your Expertise Into an Online Program

This simple hack always helps me and my 1:1 clients to rapidly organize my content for creating online programs.
I know as experts, we can be so close to our content that it is hard to think through the best way to present it to someone who is new to the concepts we’ve spent years mastering.
I don’t know about you, but I can waste valuable time staying stuck and swirling around in my head. The real bummer, is that most people don’t realize how much this costs them, not only in valuable time, but also in getting their ideas into a sellable format.
But I have a great solution for you.
No, it isn't another course or membership program on how to create courses or online programs.
It's super simple.
All you have to do is sit down at your kitchen table with your favorite beverage, some sticky notes and 3x5 cards (if you have them).
Here’s my 3-step process that works like a charm with all my clients:
- On 3x5 cards, list out all the main topics or themes you want to cover.
- On sticky notes, write down the specific concepts or steps they need to go through to adequately learn and apply that topic for a quick win
- Rearrange your “brain dump” into the most logical outline from newbie to someone feeling confident after going through your program.
- [BONUS] Enjoy the feeling of knowing you have covered all the main elements of your training and have a portable, simple roadmap to implement it (just stack up those sticky notes onto their topical 3x5 card, rubberband them & go!).
But here it is in visual form. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
To implement this method, you'll want to have about 1-2 hours, a coffee (or other fav beverage) and some 3x5’s and sticky notes. That's it!
