Sometimes I wish I could just do my "thing" and build courses and membership sites on MemberVault, without having to do content marketing as well.
Maybe you also feel overwhelmed trying to juggle all the different social media platforms and search channels to get even a little more visibility on your amazing offers in MV.
Or maybe you’re confused about which visibility strategy will work best for your business model and audience and where to focus first.
And then there’s imposter syndrome, feeling like you just really aren’t “expert enough” to be putting out your shingle online to offer advice or help.
Well, here’s the good news!
I interviewed over 25 MemberVault experts across each social media and search platform to distill the best tips and strategies to help you go from hidden to visible to attract the exact people who need what you’ve created in MV.
And from there, I simplified and distilled down my best takeaways from these interviews to create for my Course Bistro peeps this Market Your MemberVault Social Media & SEO Visibility Guide.
Have you ever been to a party and felt like the people there just ignored you? It’s so personal in real life when that happens!
But then to create an online course, membership or challenge and then try to figure out how to get the visibility you need to sell it, well, is just daunting.
Unless you already have a massive Facebook or Instagram following, have some amazing connections or just know how to capture people’s attention in the middle of their social media scrolling, it is a pure challenge to get people’s attention.
I’m going to share with you four ways to increase your virtual visibility, especially if you’re just starting out creating digital products.
1️⃣ Optimize your social media profiles and header graphics to lead to your MV Free Resource Hub. This includes adding your name, who you serve and how you help them solve their greatest pain points in your short description. Great graphics with photos of YOU doing your thing are important to draw attention that YOU are the solution to their problems.

2️⃣ Increase the quality of your graphics to grab attention and stop the scroll. Your graphics need to be a “picture that is worth 1000 words.” Show, don’t tell your ideal students what your offer will do for them. And create mock-ups of your course or membership site worksheets that build curiosity and entice them to want to find out more.
Instead of telling them about all the features of your offer, show them all the great stuff they get visually! Create mock-ups of your program content using multi-device mock-ups, course teaser graphics, sales page testimonial graphics and more! In addition to written outlines of your content, create a visual curriculum overview map or client transformation journey graphics to build in visual interest. I show MV users how to create these with video tutorials in my MemberVault Video Vault.

Create visual hooks that grab people’s attention and make them want more! Overall, make your social posts, sales and landing pages beautiful by spending more time on the quality of your graphics.
3️⃣ Do some keyword research and integrate your best, highest volume search keywords into your teaser page, teaser modules and very soon (new MV feature for 2021!) your MemberVault hosted blog.
Use long tail keywords with the least competition (under 100,000 competition score) and with search volume per month of anything above zero. To determine the competition score, I use TubeBuddy’s Keyword Explorer Tool results. For determining the search volume per month on any given keyword/phrase, I use Keywords Everywhere Chrome plugin with purchased credits for keyword search results. This plugin displays keyword volume search directly under the Google search bar every time I do keyword search. It’s only $10 for 100,000 search credits--which goes a long way!
Pro Tip: Don’t forget to toggle “off” your chrome extension when you’re not actively doing keyword research. Otherwise, it’s using up your paid search credits every time you use Google!
4️⃣ Develop your content publishing strategy (sometimes referred to as “content marketing”). This is essentially how people who are totally unaware of you, your services and your solution can find you online. This is how someone new to online business must start to attract a “cold audience” until you can warm them up a bit to know, like and trust you before they’re willing to buy from you.
